Professor Carlos Frenk is the Founding Director of the Institute for Computational Cosmology, Durham University's research group. His talk explores how the universe came to be and the progress made in the last 30 years to better understand this branch in science. Together with artists and historians, he created the extraordinary installation The World Machine at Lumiere Durham 2015, which was about the origin of the universe.
